Polysyllabic Spree – June 2007

Despite June flying by at what I’m sure is record speed, I still managed to accumulate an alarming number of books purchased. This was mainly due to having a $100 AMEX gift card and a lot of time to browse in Strand. And five of these books were purchased for book signings.

Next, the stack of books read. Not nearly as impressive. Still, considering how busy June was and that we got a Wii this month, not a bad stack. And I’ve completed my re-reading of all Harry Potter books, so I’m ready for the big day this month.

This month, a third stack of books was necessary. These are books that I already owned a copy of, but that I bought a new copy of for various reasons. I’m separating them from my books purchased pile, since I already own these titles. This may sound crazy, but there were good sound reasons for buy a second copy of all of these.

Here’s the link to my polysyllabic spree web page, which lists the titles and authors of these books.
